Users in public..?

Hi all,

I have copied some databases from one server to another.
The users from the serverrole 'Public' in the database have been copied but not the login.

If I try to add a login to the new server and grant access to the database I get the message 'User or role already exists in the current database'

If I try to login with that specific loginname and password to the database I get the message; 'Access to the selected database has been denied'

I cannot delete the users in the database either.

What can I do?

I believe you need to remove them from the role. Ashley L Rickards
