users from admin groups being removed automactically is this a policy?

At one of our sites when i put users in to a pc's administrators group it just seems to remove them after a couple of days. Is this a policy somewhere as I didn't make the policy for this site. If so where can i find it?

In active directory under computer policy there is a security feature called restricted groups, this is used to set local group membership from a central location. Take a look at the admin group settings in there it may reveal the problem.
