I have a shared folder on my Network called ITShare their is a file located in that share called Inventory.xls.. How can I tell which users are currently using the document??

Newbie in search of knowledge

On the computer that holds the share, right click on My Computer - Manage - Shared Folders - Open Files.
It will list all open files and who is accessing them.
You can also connect to another computer using this tool.
