username/password from SQL7 in User Directories

How can I use the username and password fields from my SQL7 DB as User Directories in CF Administrator's Advanced Security Settings (for use in a new Security Context.) I would like to use <CFAUTHENTICATE> to verify logins in my app, but this has been a stumbling block for me.
