I have recently installed Exchange 2000 Server on a Win2000 Server. I have been testing/burning-in this new setup. I have been testing POP3 accounts using OE6.
Whenever I send mail through an account for the first time on a local client, it asks for a username, password, and domain - even if they already exist in the account properties...
If I enter the proper name and password, the e-mail sends (regardless of domain entered), and this is the last time I see the authentication on the client machine.
If I cancel, the mail sends anyway, but I get prompted for the same info every following attempt...until I enter in the right info.
Is this normal?
Can it be avoided?
