Have been logging in and out working on a couple of problems with Exchange 2003 running on Server2003. Just gone to log back in and username and password are greyed out. Same is true if i select local machine rather than domain. Has anyone else seen this?

How was safe mode? F8 on start up.

It's not evaluation software?

Are other machine's in the domain affected?

Could you let it boot, sitting there at the logon menu, then connect to the event viewer from another machine?

Managed to sort this one. Solution for anyone else that has the same problem:
Boot in safe mode with network support so only bare minimum services start. Then re-add the server to the domain and re-boot. Cause was a corrupt computer account.
