I have a question that maybe somebody has encountered. It does not happen all the time real infrequent. The issue is a the login window the user enters their username hits return and enters password. The screen does not go to the CDE1.4 and desktop, instead it goes black and after a couple of minutes the login screen returns. They enter the information again and it goes to the CDE screen and desktop.
The second attempt to enter the username and password goes through never having to reboot or try a third time.
The strange thing is it has only happened on 2 Ultra 5 solaris 5.8 with CDE 1.4, but not very often. Has anyone seen this?
