I keep getting this error on my one DC but not the other...any ideas?

Windows cannot access the registry information at \\<domain name>\<location>

Could be DNS...what happens when you ping domain.com from that DC?

Could be permissions...can you go to start, run, \\domain.com\sysvol?

Could be that the DFS service is stopped on that DC. Check services.msc, Distributed File System service. Should be started and set to auto.

It's weird...from the DC .. I can ping domain.com I can browse to \\domain.com\sysvol but if I do a \\domain.com\ i get this error...

The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect...

and DSF is started and running...
