I have an sql database that is access with ms access using an odbc link. I am able to connect to the odbc link on my system as the domain administrator but other users cannot establish and odbc link to this database. Can anyone help me on this. I have set up the link with a common sql user name that owns the database in sql.

user unable to use odbc link to sql database

Some companies set up their networks so that only Admins can set up ODBC connections. Where I last worked, I had to go to my coworkers computers, log in with my admin account and set up their ODBC connection. Then once I set it up, they could use it.
