Does anyone know how I can make user settings "per user" and not "per machine"

Bendall,
when you have installed VSS on a network server, you will see a users directory. Here the specific user settings are held.
As I remember well: Edit the ss.ini file (otherwise look for the most logical file in a user directory) in the requested user directory. A couple of user settings are already there.
On the network server: install VSS Server including database.
On the clients: install VSS client.
