Hello, This is my first post. Please help me if you can. I have 7 machines on a domain controller, and the domain controller crashed and needed a wipeout/reload. Now I have all these users with their profiles intact but because the domain controller has been altered, they cant see each other unless i take them off and re-add them to the domain in which case I loose their profiles. How do I get around this? I have tried simply creating a new profile and copying the old one overtop but that doesnt work.

Thank you in advance

You can try this, I think i did this before if you still have a copy of the profiles still on a workstation, you can right click on your my computer icon select the profile and copy it to the newly created profile directory on the server, you should also be able to rename it to the new user if you wish at the same time.

Give it a go and let me know.

Dan
