A user is missing there menu bar (File|Edit| etc.) If I use the alt + F, etc, I can see the drop down portion of the menu as if it were descending out of the BusObj caption of the window, however, I can't seem to get the menu to return, or become visible. I can't seem to reproduce the issue on my machine. Is there a way to get the menu bar back short of re-installing BusObj. (We are presently using 5.1.6)

Thanks!

Is this a Windows XP user? If so, try running BUSOBJ.EXE in compatibility mode?

If not, change the resolution of the screen and see if the menu has been dragged off the page.

No, its Win2k/sp4. I have tried what you suggested and the menu is nowhere to be seen. We also just did a clean install (uninstall - delete BO folder - reinstall) and the menu is STILL not showing.

I would try one more thing. Uninstall. Don't worry about the BO folder. But do clean out the Business Objects registry tree.

Also, I'm a bit concerned about 5.1.6 on SP4. I'm wondering if that is related.

Yeah, that's what we eventually did - and it worked. I just can't for the life of me figure out how he lost his menu bar. I did everything I could to loose mine just to reproduce the problem. Oh, well, if it happens again we know what to do.

Thanks!
