Hi

How do I get the last logon info for a user ?
I checked out a few forums, which say that I have
to write a trigger to get that info.

But my requirement is to get old info. A user might
have left the organization, but still having an account.
I need to check the last time he logged in and compute
the number of days of inactivity.

Some sites also said that I need to enable audit when
starting the database. I cannot possibly do these tasks.

Is there a direct method to access this info from any
of the system tables or any other table ?

Hope my query is clear ?

Thanks in advance.
Rajeev Anand.

You may create system on logon trigger Regards, Dima

I don't believe this information is available anywhere in the system tables. So if you are looking now for this information you are out of luck. However if you (or your DBA) turns on auditing OR you write a logon trigger to record this logon information starting now - you will have this information in the future.
