Hi, I wasn't sure what area of this website to post it on, but to settle a debate with a client I have been asked to select the 10 most important interface design issues that are relevant today. I would be very greatful for your opinions and references on this issue. Thanx

sounds like a good working relationship you got there!

i only ever make 2 considerations... whats best for the efficiency of the database and whats best for the ease of use of the customer?

go to the bopard saying i want to do this, this and this (being the most efficient way of doing thigs) and if they are unhappy with that compromise as much as you have to until they are happy or until you cannot compromise the efficiency of the application any further.

is this the kind of response you were after?

or were you after more detailed, menu/GUI interface design issues?

Cheers, that's helped abit. It's a funny relationship with the client as it's someone I know. If you could expand and mention the menu/GUI interface design issues then that would be much appreciated. Thanx
