I have a user that is getting the following error message in Excel:
It's a MS VB error
An error occured while loading 'Sheet 8811111111111211111111'. Do you want to continue loading this project? If you say yes then it gives you another error that says Excel.exe has generated errors and will be closed and then it closes all Excel sheets open. I can open this in Excel 97 without getting the error but that doesn't help him he doesn't have 97 on his machine. I looked at in in 97 and can find no Macros or VB code associated with it.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help,
KL

Great, Karebear. Funny thing is I heard about this problems soooo often about a year ago. This is the first time I've heard it in ages... happy to help! Anne Troy

Now if you could just magically convince these guys that copying spreadsheets over and over again is BAD...then you would officialy be my hero!
Thanks again,
KL

Tell them to make a template sheet....and copy just that one each time. By the way, the problem does not occur anymore. I think it happened up to 97... I think that's why we're not seeing the problem anymore. Anne Troy
