user.exe erro

When I try to go into Excel I get an error message that tells me that I've reached a USER.EXE error and Excel will close. I then have to click Close and am back where I started. If I try to go back into Excel, my system locks up and I can't do anything but move he mouse around.

Any suggestions. I reloaded Microsoft Office already and the other programs are working.

rename your xlb file

else
go to start, run. and type in

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Excel.exe" /regserver
(this assumes it's not XP)
