user data file from oracle 9.2 aix to solaris

i have two system the first is AIX 5.2 with oracle 9.2.0.1
the second solaris 10 with oracle 9.2.0.6
i will to copy the database file (dbf and ctl) from solaris to aix database and form aix to solaris
is it possible and compatible
i will to start oracle database on aix with solaris database file

Amalou,

You cannot use data files from one operating system on another. To migrate data from one o/s to another, the most efficient method is to export from the source system, then import onto the target system.
