I have a Crystal Reports v8.5 Report that has been working fine 'forever' It is invoked by an ASP page using the
Report Viewer. When the report is executed, it displays the message "User Cancelled" immediately after the viewer window is opened, even though the user did not cancel the report. There are NO changes to the report.

Error:
CRAXDRT Error Occurred on Server -2147206395 User Cancelled

Any ideas???????

Is the viewer part of the application something you created from scratch or is it a tool from a 3rd-party developer?

Thanks for noticing the posting!

The application is a sprawling Web app that's been around for five years and developed in-house. The user downloads the CR Report Viewer ActiveX in order to view the reports. The report is based on an Oracle stored procedure. An ASP page provides the user input to feed the Report parms.

We have over 60 reports working perfectly well - this was an additional report added to the site.

Why this PARTICULAR report should suffer this ignominious fate while all the others truck on is beyond me.

I've researched the eroor (nothing on the web). If you have any clues I would love to hear them.

The problem is probably due to login or table permissions for that report. For example, are you using SQL Server as the data source? Perhaps the report was designed with NT Authentication option. Switch to SQL Server authentication...
