Hi all,

At first my windows xp had only one account that is Administrator and with this each time I turned on my pc it would automatically loaded windows without asking for username and password.

Later on, I created another administrator account called "test". And now each time I turn on It would prompt me to supply username and password.

I tried to delete my "test" account and got back the way windows loads itself automatically, but I can't see a way. By default, I understood that xp prevented me from delete my new built account.

Can anyone help suggest if I could got back to my original way of windows xp loading?

Thanks a million.

In USER ACCOUNTS set the "way users log on and off" disable the welcome screen and remove any password from your account, then it should boot straight to the desktop.

But be warned that any "Scheduled Tasks" will not run on a system that does not have a password because of security features within XP.

You can automaticly pass a full username and password and still retain autologon in Windows XP. The easiest way to configure this is using TweakUI from Microsoft, by doing it by hand is also not very difficult. A guide:
