Hi all,

Well, I'm completely new to the Definity system and have what I'm sure is an incredibly basic question. I'm actually a Network Administrator, but since I have PABX experiance (albiet mainly with Ericsson BP 250s and MD110s), my boss has decided that he wants me to learn the system inside out and back the front since there is no real PABX admin currently in the company (it's mainly just him and a few others that have figured out the basics.. enough to get them by anyhow)

Anyway, sorry if this question has been asked before, I've searched the forum though and can't find anything. I have been learning the system so know the basics, but what I wanted to know is if there is a command somewhere that will list ALL vacant (unassigned) numbers in the system (or even all the used ones for that matter).. I know the list command and how to list certain objects (extensions, VDNs, vectors etc), but since our number assignment are pretty complex and out system quite large (coupled with the fact that I'm not even sure how many types of objects can be assigned numbers), I'm finding it hard to find numbers that haven't already been assigned to something!!!

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers in advance all..

List extension will show all numbers used.

List station will show all numbers used for stations

If you are using ASA to administer, go to tasks tab and choose general and click on find unused extensions to see what numbers are free.

Ditto waht CBB said....you can then export the list to an excel spread sheet like we do here and keep track of it that way.....

Thanks a lot CBB... I am using ASA so have just tried that out and it works great!!

The list extension command is exactly what I've been searching for.. but since in an Ericsson system a 'Station' is called an 'Extension', I thought it was listing the same info as the list station command... :-S Silly...

Though, sorry to follow up directly with another question, but how do you go about exporting the list AMGTEKIII?

Thanks again guys
