I believe this is possible just by using NAT however there is one consideration that I haven't been able to find a solution for.
I found this article that relates to Win2003 Server from Microsoft Technet I believe (I suppose it would be similar for Win2000 server with more work to be done).
Now this setup requires IAS, Radius and whole bunch of other stuff while I believe that what I want can be accomplished without all that stuff.
I want users to just plug in and go (NAT = perfect)
There will be no fees for time usage (NAT = perfect)
They will be able to only use Internet (NAT = perfect)
One thing is missing!
I don't want clients to see each other in My Network Places at all nor share files and ping each other.
(that's where problem is)
In other words they would feel as if they were the only person plugged in to the network.
Since I want a simple setup, AD would require them to log on to a domain? (right?). That I would preffer to avoid.
What else can be done to accomplish this if it's possible to do it through windows server in a simple way?
Ultimately this would be what I am trying to achieve (picture should be on the bottom of the article).
thanks for any thoughts, ideas
