I am trying to create a scheduler to book staff for meetings and I have come up with some very ugly designs

I would like to use the outlook calendar inside my form and use that to write to my table. Is this possible is there a
outlook calendar activex. I have read posts that automate and link to outlook but that is not really what I am after
I just want to use the calendar to enter and present data

Whew. That's a big task! Without a lot of coding with the FlexGrid control it's going to be difficult to emulate the Outlook calendar.

However, you can get the date picker ActiveX is a bit easier. It's called the MonthView control and could be added to a borderless form which closes when the MonthView control loses focus. will get you started.

Hope this helps a little bit... :)

I don't want to re invent the wheel surely someone has a day month time scheduler that emulates the outlook calendar.
I have found plenty of calendar type examples however they seem to be lacking

I have looked into officecalendar which is an add on to outlook which write the info to a mdb file

hmm

I think I have come up with a solution.

Using continous forms and conditional formating

can u pls post your solution the fox149?
or upload it somwhere?
thnx in advance

still a work in progress unfortunatly but when completed i will post I have also created a scheduling report which is just a re tweak of another schudker roster report I found on this site...I can post that in the next few days

There are other access solutions I have seen on the web that handle scheduling but my gosh they are ugly..I like programs that work but They have to look good escpecially if you want money for them apps should look just as good as some of the glossy websites you see around no plain old boring windows classic grey
