use of 10/100MBPS MGT PORT in cisco 4006 catalyst

hai,

can anybody explain me the use of 10/100MBPS MGT PORT in cisco 4006 catalyst.To which port in cisco 4006 catalyst may i connect the cable emerging from 10/100 MBPS port in cisco 3660 router .
i have a pair of 24 port slot in cisco 4006 catalyst switch
which are 10/100 MBPS.

Its for managament reasons, you configure that on a totally separate network (different switches and all) for management reasons, you can assign an IP to that management interface. Its just out of band management.. You can't use it for bridging or anything though.
