Use Group By and Count Together in a report

I want to get a total number of Purchase orders for a Week<br>My data is like so<br>PONum Date Price<br>1234&nbsp;&nbsp;1/4/00 $35<br>1234&nbsp;&nbsp;1/4/00 $56<br>1235&nbsp;&nbsp;1/5/00 $12<br>1236&nbsp;&nbsp;1/7/00 $15<br>1236&nbsp;&nbsp;1/7/00 $32<br>1236&nbsp;&nbsp;1/7/00 $12<br>In other words each line item is listed in the database.<br>So we have 3 PO's for that week.<br>How can I Group by PO and then Count the PO's to arrive at 3.<br>Right now if I use =Count([PONum] in the Footer I get 6 cause there are 6 records in the recordset.<br><br>TIA<br><br> <p>DougP<br><a href=mailto: dposton@universal1.com> dposton@universal1.com</a><br><a href= > </a><br> Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.

In the group footer of the PO group level, create a text box and set its control source as &quot;=1&quot; and set its running sum as &quot;overall&quot; or maybe &quot;over group&quot; if you have other group levels. This textbox can count the number of unique PO number.<br>
