USB Ports...

ok i was given the task of formatting and reinstalling all the warehouse machines... most are fine but i seem to be having a problem with just a select few...
PC = Fujitsu Siemens Scenic (really old ones)
they have the sticker on the front saying they can run XP... but i have wiped them and once reinstalled i dont seem to have USB ports?? i didnt need to install any drivers as windows found them all, but in 'Device Manager' there is no sign on USB ports!! i know they work as plugging a barcode scanner works! but i need printers attached!!

Does Device Manager list "USB Controllers"?
What problems are you having when connecting the printers?

no there was no USB in device manager... which stumped me cause before the format they had USB devices working on them...

i noticed that the scanner didnt work on the USB port and only had power...

I have since solved the problem and incase anyone else gets stuck in the same place...

Check BIOS!.. it seemed to have disabled USB in BIOS, such an obvious one D'OH!
