USB-HUB Problem

Hi,

I've connected a USB Hub to my system.
It has 4 ports and it's self-powered.
Every time I connect the hub the computer hangs.
When I connect a device to the usb-port on the computer and disable the hub everything works fine.
I'm running Windows ME but also on Windows 98 SE it gives the same problem.
Does anyone know this problem ???
