Hi group!
I was wondering if anyone has come across any references to usability studies (online or otherwise).I've developed an application that runs within FileMaker Pro 5.0 and as such, my analysis of the "usability" of the application will be influenced by FileMaker.

Thanks,
Dave

references to usability studies ...meaning what?how useful is FileMaker?how many people are using it? :(

To clarify:
I am looking for any studies done on the "usability" of software, and in particular databases and interfaces developed in FileMaker. What I mean by usability is:
-how well do users react to the software (ie, layout)?
-is the software user friendly (ie, intuitive)?
-are the users able to grasp the entire process without having to reference the user manual many times?
-etc
In essence, the things besides the code that makes or breaks the database and interface.

Thanks,
Dave

hello A5K!
In that case I would talk to FileMaker but I doubt they will publish something like that... :(
good luck

A5k,
You are referring to YOUR solution aren't you? I have a friend who works in the area of 'user-friendliness'. I'll check with him on any stidies - when I next contact him!

Cheers,
Paul J.
