US Companions on Canadian KSU question.

We've gotten some used companion 3060's and are trying to use them on a site to replace some defectives.

They are american 3060's ( I assume, due to the FCC ID and UTAM Inc. bulletin behind the battery ).

Can these 3060's be used on Canadian systems ? I attempted one today, but kept getting "no connection". Is there any work around ?

You need a US comapion KSU and UTAM codes

I'm in Michigan, and Companion repair companies are getting hard to come by. It's a crapshoot whether we get back a US, or Canadian model. We may be able to stock a few spares.
