You need to add a TCP/IP port, or a UNC listing, to your port list.
Start, Printers and Faxes, File, Server properties, Add port, add either the TCP/IP assignment you were given, or in UNC format \\server-name\printer_share as a new local port.
Then add the printer and give it the new port.
