Urgently require help

We had a leased line go down, now, the provider has repaired line, but i cannot get the link back up.

The relevant interface outputs are below, SITE 1 & SITE 2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

SITE 1


Serial1 is up, line protocol is down

SITE 2 shows Serial0 is up, line protocol is up (looped)

Your interface may have got itself in a tangle, so try doing a shut then no shut to reset the interface. If this doesn't work, your next option is to try power reset (on both ends if that's viable).

If the above doesn't work, do a visual inspection on the DSU/CSU at each end. Do they have loop indicators on at all? If so try clearing them (look for a "Loop" button, or power reset). May also pay to check with your provider to ensure they haven't left a software loop on somewhere inadvertantly.

I came to the same conclusion, and am waiting for provider to remove loop from circuit....

ps.

If anybody else comes across this problem, as well as what was mentioned above, you need to make sure loopback has not been configured on interface......
