Hi all,

I have a quick question. Let say if I am in the company network and I noticed that the network network can map to my hard drive and see all of the folder on my hard drive. when I am logging into the network, is there any ways for me to block him for not be able to see the folders on my harddrive unless I share that folder or let him see it???

If possible, please give me the full instructions of how to do that

depends on how much rights you have on the C drive. But be advised, a domain admin can undo just about anything you do...

geeezz,

does it mean he can see everything on my computer if he want to at any time???

This is not good, I don't have any privacy on my pc at all.

Please advise if anyone has any solutions.

thanks

Well, I hate to say this, but that ain't "your" computer. It belongs to whomever your employer is and they can pretty much do what they want, provided at some point they've made that known to you. HOWEVER, domain admin or not, NOONE should be looking at your machine without either yours, or your supervisor's permission.

it depedns on what services your running , maybe a third party program also.
For example if you are running Telnet services, users can use it and browse your computer. If your running terminal services a user with rights can do a lot of thigs depending of his/her rights. If you have PCanywhere or some third party software like that, also..So it depends.
Also as bronto says, depends also on the security principals on your network. A+, MCP, CCNA
