So I'm working along in a db that I've had working just fine for upwards of four years, and in exiting a form I've used hundreds of times, no recent changes, I start to get all sorts of errors (which I foolishly didn't copy down word for word) along the lines of Unrecognized db format, can't find table or query XYZ, and some others.
I exit the db, try to get back in, and get "Record(s) can't be read; no read permission on MSysModules2". I ran JetComp, same error, rebooted PC (thinking I may have lost access to the drive) and still get the same error. I can access other files in the same directory, so it's not a network access rights problem. I tried importing everything to a new db, and get the same permissions error above a million times (once for each object, thanks--THAT was fun).
Running an A97 db with no security set whatsoever, on a Novell network drive. I am the ONLY person who's ever done any development on this db at all, and so far as I can tell, there were no other users at the time this happened.
Any ideas??
Many thanks in advance,
Ben
