URGENT HELP FOR PASSWORD RECOVERY

Iam new to the forum
I have pix506E and i was locked out of the pix I need to

recover the password and i dont know the software Version

of it and i have gone thru several documents on the web it

says it is 6.2 can any one clear me is it true and as well

as the steps to recover the password.

Use np62.bin according to

You can't recover the password, but you can reset it to the default.

The config will not be erased when you perform password recovery.

Do you have a copy of the config?

If you do you can decrypt the encrypted password from the config

no i dont have the config with me iam new to the concern
as well as one more question how can we change the password for telnet

ok as well as when connecting from outside interface to a pc we should use a cross cable right
