URGENT! Exchange Full Administrator role

I'm installing MS Exchange Server 2003 onto a Windows Server 2000 box. ForestPrep will not run. It tells me that I must have Exchange Full Administrator rights. I've verified that I do, in fact, have these rights. I get the same informationsl message when I try to uninstall Exchange server.

Thanks for any hints you can offer. My head is spinning.

The Domain Controller is Windows Server 2003. DNS and AD are fine.

What am I missing????

If you are installing it but also have the option to uninstall it there is a version already there that isn't happy. Check ESM properties to see the account that has full rights then add another account in and test that.
