URGENT - Dos name for folder

I am trying to delete a file in a directory
using a logon script but I can't get the old dos name..

Please help quick!!!
the file is

C:\Program Files\SIMS\SIMS .net\LessonMonitor.mdb

I have got

c:\progra~1\sims\Sims .net\Lesson~1.mdb

But it's the "Sims .net" bit I can not get?

Can anyone help, Please....

have u tried sims~1?

change to the c:\program files\sims directory and run dir /x this will show you the 8.3 filename.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

use quotes " " within the path in order to navigate to that dir
