Uploading Images files with pure ASP

I'm trying to upload image files with ASP i found some scripts but this works for all file types and as you know this could be a problem because some malicious files, i even try to modify the code but it's problem becuase when i solve one problem others come up and i'm wasting my time with this.

Therefore i request your help with this pure uploading images asp code that also allows me to save the name (not the file itself) of the file into a DB field.

When you say with pur ASP are you talking about the product titled "Pure ASP" or you saying pure as in not using a component at all?

Whatever code you use to manipulate and handle the upload will have the ability to pull the file name so that you can store that in another field of the database. You just parse out the name to see what the extension is and determine if it is an image file.

Do you already have upload software you are working with?
