Uploading 3904 firmware from a compact flash? 1

I have downloaded the firmware from Nortel and I need to find out how to load it from the compact flash drive into the PBX I have a CS1000 61-C with 4.5 on it.

That is done via PDT, and you most likely require the distributors assistance.

This is loaded similar to patches, but there are additional steps that have to take place that will generate a PSDL file on the system. The call server reads this file on a SYSLOAD, so the system will require a restart after that process is done.

Once you are at this point, you can manage the TDM phones and what firmware they get via the commands in LD 97 and LD 32.

What are the steps that need to take place and how do I access the PDT?

If you do not know how, the steps are call a vendor/partner. There is a password associated with pdt.
