Uplink two cisco routers using RJ45 x-over, can this be done?

Actual issue is that uplink a cisco 4000 (IOS: 11.2) using RJ45 (x-over) to a Linux box running zebra, using OSPF.

Yes you can do this. Just get a standard RJ45 crossover cable. Very straight forward.
