What is the easiest way to upgrade or add XP Pro to a computer with XP Home operating system? All personal and business applications are a 120 Gb harddrive with the operating system. If the simplest solution is to add a dual boot situation, how can I get to all the installed applications? Basically, I would like to remove XP Home, and end with only XP Pro, and use all the software installed without re-installing all these applications.

Thanks.

You can just upgrade the Home version to Pro version, just like that.

If you start the installation of Pro, while you are loged on the Home version it will come up with an upgrade choise, and a clear installation

So the only thing you have to do is choose the upgrade option.

Follow the steps, and every app you have will work exactly the same
