Upgrading TRU64 4.0B to 4.0F

Hi everybody...
I would like to know where could I download the upgrade for moving my recent installed unix alpha 4.0B to version 4.0F. My client need to install an Oracle to his Alpha 4100 server and i know that version 4.0F must be installed to run this application. I found a patch called 'Patch Kit 8' that is intended to version 4.0F, but someone tell me that this patch only applyes for version 4.0F, not for upgrading from 4.0B, which is my case..

Each version of the OS (eg: 4.0B , 4.0D , 4.0F) had to be purchased or was supplied as part of a software update contract with Compaq (now HP). I suspect you would still need to buy each installation/upgrade kit (which includes the CDs, firmware upgrade CD, Release notes and Installation Guide, etc), so I doubt you can find a free download site. I have just had a quick look through the Release Notes for v4.0F, which say that you can only upgrade from v4.0D or v4.0E to v4.0F, so if you want to upgrade from v4.0B you are going to have to perform a 2 or 3 step upgrade path (ie B -> D -> F or maybe B -> C -> D -> F) - you will need to check this from the v4.0D Release Notes. You may find it easier (and cheaper) to perform a fresh installation of v4.0F, having backed up all your filesystems first. As you state, once running v4.0F, then add the latest Patch Kit (eg Patch Kit 8) which only applies to v4.0F.
Whichever way you choose (several step upgrade path or fresh installation) if you require further help, then re-post.
