If you are upgrading to XP from an older OS then read this.

You may have heard about msblast and over viruses and dont want to be caught out when downlowing files, so i suggest

Making a file C:\ (if you are doing a clean install C:\Windows will be replaced)
Download a frewall and stuff u may need on xp, download SP1 if you have XP version 2002 and save all your files you want to C:\.
Some new version of windows pre-insatlled programs (pain, wordpad) may not be as good in xp so copy Paint,Wordpad and even backup i you want to the xp folder in C:.
