Hi I have a customer with 8 Sites all with IP office 500's and a couple of V2's on version 6. All but 2 sites are running in a SCN with Phone Manager Pro. I due to upgrade all the sites to the latest version and put the last 2 phone systems into the SCN. As Phone manger is no longer supported and as they use pro cant get licences we will also change the whole SCN Network to One X Portal.

I have add this order on for a while now but was holding back buying the upgrade licences as we were going to upgrade them to version 8.1 but I was aware that version 9 was on the pipeline and was thinking best to wait in case version 9 was a better option. My question is do you think I am best to upgrade them all to 8.1 or version 9 and if version 9 is this stable or has anyone has some issues. They ware mainly going to be using One X initially and is the main reason for the upgrade but of course later they may take advantage of the new One X mobile with VoIP client etc. which I have briefly read about.

So to summaries

9.0 because one-x has more features.
You also have longer support if you want that.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Hey thanks guys I will do. One thing if noticed Imp testing ONE X portal on our in house test system on 8.1 as still waiting for version 9 Licences and ONE X Portal seems very buggy. Some parts work better in Chrome some in firefox and some in I.E. If I Install the Call assistant and Outlook plugin and answer a call through that it launches one X Portal in its own window. I cant tell what browser its launching but if I use this method it takes ages to load and the messages and call status gadgets take ages. What's your experiences with one X Portal as I'm not confident I can role this out to customers if it behaves like this.
