We have a Meridian Option 11c, software release 25.40. For the two years we've had the system, there have been intermittent problems with framing errors on our Verizon Flexpath 24-channel DTI circuit. Neither Verizon nor our vendor have been able to solve this, either by replacing equipment or changing cabling to the central office. We still end up with dropped calls on a consistent basis.
We are thinking of upgrading to a PRI circuit, to allow D-channel remote monitoring of the circuit and to get B8ZS encoding instead of AMI. We have a NTRB21AB TMDI 1.5 DTI/PRI card. Printing SLT in LD22, shows that we have 64 TMDI D-CHANNELS available.
Can we upgrade to a Verizon PRI using this same card or do we have to switch to a different card? What programming changes would we have to make?
