I am going to be upgrading 22 accounting dept. machines to Office 2000 from Office 97. I was wonder if anyone has had any issues with this, and if so what could be done to prevent it. My main concern is if there will be any issues with my access databases .I know there is an issue with 97 reading certain 97 docs, but does it also go the other way ..Thanks

If you have any dim statements in the modules for database and recordsets, change them to dao.database or dao.recordset. That seemed to work pretty well when I updated all of our databases.

The standard Access 2000 does not reference the DAO-library. Thus, your applications (if they use DAO, what I suppose) will not work at all.

The solution is simple: just activate the reference to the DAO3.6-library and everything will be ok.
