Upgrading to HRMS 8.3 and Oracle 9.0.1

We are getting ready to begin our upgrade and I was wondering if anyone out there had gone from HRMS 7.5 to 8.3 and upgraded to Oracle 9.0.1 - If so were there any major issues? I know that Oracle 9.2 is the preferred version of Oracle but, Peoplesoft doesn't support it yet (HPUX o/s). Just wondering if we should just go to Oracle 8.1.7 or if 9i is stable and functional -- Thanks :)
