Upgrading to Enterprise 1

Hi,

I want to upgrade my exchange server from standard edition to enterprise. DOes anyone know what is required to accomplish this. Do I just need to show it the enterprise cd? Do I have to reinstall?

Reinstall over the top then reapply and service packs, patches etc.

Insert CD, next, next, next...then install the service packs. Should take 30 minutes in total.

Nope - straight swap of a handful of files. Services stop, services start, job done.

what if there is a frontend OWA server -- does that need to be upgraded to Enterprise, or can it stay standard?

It can be either, but must be at least the same version. i.e. FE of 2000 means the back end MUST be 2000 or 5.5 only.
