Upgrading To 9

before doing make sure to backup your database folder and 0000001.qsd (job folder)to be in safe side incase there problem during the upgrade.
My recomandation is to upgrade to arcserve 9.0 and then convert vldb to sql by running dbtosql.exe from command line .

If there is corruption in the VLDB then it can cause problems in the conversion.
dbcheck will report if there are any errors or inconsistencies in the databases.
dchain and then keybuild will repair the corruption if present.
