upgrading the hardware server

hello, we are looking to upgrade our current hardware server to a dual machine as we have reached our limit with the existing machine.

we have a mixture of windows 2000 workstations, xp and macs approx. 30 in total all running on windows 2000 adv server - my question therefore is:

what will be the best/ simplest way to migrate the user profiles on each machine without having to recreate them again?

should i re-install the new machine with the windows 2000 and recreate the domain on this machine?
