Upgrading Server 2000 to SBS 2003 AD objects not replicating

I am currently upgrading server 2000 to SBS 2003, Unfortunately AD objects are not replicating to SBS 2003. Error message 1126 keeps on appearing in event viewer stating that AD is unable to establish a connection with the Global Catalogue. On ADSS I checked in the properties of the SBS server that the Global catalogue box is ticked, and the the same in the server 2000 properties is unticked.

I am stumped any help would be appreciated
