Hi All,

I'm in the process of upgrading my NetWare client agents from ARCServe 2000 to V9. My question is, should I uninstall the client agent first, then install the v9 agent or can I simply install "over the top"? Also, if I do install over the top will I need to unload the agent on the netware server first?

Thank in advance for any help you can provide,

The way I do it :

- unload NWAGENT
- remove Nwagent directory
- reinstall new agent

For ARCserve v9 I usually take the NetWare agent software that is on the ARCserve for Windows v11 CD-ROM, this is in fact a version 9.01 NetWare agent with the latest NLM's (November 2003)

regards
